Three kinds of Facebook recovery, handled separately
Personal accounts, business Pages and Groups are recovered through different Meta systems, so we treat each as its own case.
Personal accounts: hacked, hijacked, locked, disabled or stuck in an identity check
Pages: lost admin access, hijacked or restricted Pages, unpublished or disabled Pages, Business Manager disputes and ad account restrictions
Groups: lost admin rights, removed or disabled Groups, archived Groups
Unban appeals: suspended, disabled or permanently banned accounts and Community Standards decisions
Restrictions on posting, messaging, advertising or going live
We only work on accounts, Pages and Groups you own or have clear rights to, and we verify that first. We never ask for your Facebook password.
What we recover
Five ways we help get Facebook access back
01
Hacked and Hijacked Personal Accounts
Someone changed your password, email or phone number, or is posting as you. The first hours matter, and the route starts at facebook.com/hacked.
→Account timeline and what was changed
→Secure-your-account steps in the right order
→Evidence of your previous email, phone and devices
→Escalation when the standard flow fails
Hacked
Hijacked
Compromised
02
Locked Accounts and Identity-Check Loops
Meta asks you to confirm who you are, and the video selfie or ID step keeps failing or never ends.
→Review of the check you were given
→Consistent ID and name evidence
→Guidance on selfie and document quality
→Advice on when to stop retrying
Locked
Identity Check
Video Selfie
03
Disabled Accounts and Unban Appeals
Meta disabled or suspended your profile for a suspected violation. We prepare the appeal around the policy it cited.
→Reading the notice and the policy cited
→Appeal within the available window
→Community Standards violation appeals
→Honest assessment of permanent bans

How it works
How Facebook Recovery Works
01
Ownership Check and Case Assessment
We confirm you own or have rights to the account, Page or Group, and identify what happened: hacked, locked, disabled, restricted or lost admin rights.
02
Evidence Preparation
We collect what Meta weighs: ID, original email and phone, a previously used device, payment receipts for ads, and Page admin history.
03
Appeal and Escalation
We prepare the appeal and submit it through Meta’s recovery, appeal and Business Support channels, escalating through available support routes.
04
Follow-Up and Protection
We track responses, advise on each Meta request, and help you secure the account afterward so it is not lost again.
Meta decides every case. We do not guarantee recovery or a timeline, and we never bypass bans or security systems.
What we can help with, and what we cannot
What we can help with
Hacked accounts where you can show ownership
Identity-check and video selfie problems
Disabled-account and Community Standards appeals
Lost Page admin access and Business Manager disputes
Group admin loss and removed or archived Groups
What we do not do
Access accounts that are not yours
Bypass bans, restrictions or security checks
Create replacement accounts to evade a ban
Ask for or use your Facebook password
Promise a result or a timeline
Evidence that supports a Facebook recovery
Meta decides on the evidence in front of it, so a complete submission is stronger than a repeated one.
Government ID that matches the name on the account
The original email address and phone number
A device or browser that previously logged in
Payment receipts and ad account billing history
Page admin history and role records
Business registration or domain ownership
The notice or email Meta sent about the restriction or ban
Not every case has all of this. We tell you what is missing, what can substitute for it, and when the chance of success is low before you pay for work.
Typical scenarios
Situations We Handle on Facebook
01
Hijacked Personal Account
A hacker changed the email and phone number, and the owner can no longer log in or receive codes.
→ We assemble prior contact details, device history and ID, and prepare the recovery request.
Our goal: Access restored where Meta accepts the evidence
02
Business Page With No Admin Access
A former agency controls the Page and the owner cannot remove them in Meta Business Suite.
→ We document ownership, admin history and business records, and submit a Business Support dispute.
Our goal: Admin control returned where ownership is established
03
Disabled Account After a Policy Flag
A profile is disabled for an alleged Community Standards violation the owner believes was a mistake.
→ We read the notice, build a factual appeal and file it within the available window.
Our goal: Appeal reviewed with the strongest case put forward
FAQ
Facebook recovery and unban questions
Can you recover a Facebook account banned for copyright, intellectual property or complaints?
Often we can appeal it, but it depends on the facts. If the ban followed a copyright or intellectual property claim, a trademark complaint or a wave of user reports, we read the notice, check who filed it and whether the claim is valid, and prepare the appeal, a counter-notice or a retraction request for content you own or are licensed to use. We do not help restore access to publish infringing content, and Meta decides every case.
Do you work with Meta directly?
Yes. Respect Network has an official partnership with Meta and managerial-level access, so eligible account, Page and Group cases are handled through an official representative. We still verify that you own what you want recovered, we never ask for your password, and the outcome of each case remains Meta’s decision.
Can a hacked or disabled Facebook account be recovered?
Often it can, but the decision belongs to Meta. A hacked account that still has a working email or phone number usually has the best path through facebook.com/hacked. A disabled account depends on the reason Meta gave and on whether an appeal is still open. We review what happened, tell you which route fits, and prepare the appeal and evidence. We cannot promise an outcome or a timeline.
What is the difference between a hacked, locked and disabled account?
A hacked account is one where someone else has changed your password, email or phone number. A locked account is held back for a security check, often an identity-confirmation step. A disabled account has been removed by Meta, usually for a suspected policy or Community Standards violation, and normally comes with an appeal option for a limited time. Each has a different process, so we identify which one you are in before filing anything.
I am stuck in an identity-check loop. What can be done?
Meta may ask for a video selfie or a government ID to confirm who you are, and the check can fail for reasons such as lighting, a name mismatch or a photo that does not match your ID. We look at what you submitted, correct what we can, and prepare a cleaner, consistent submission. Meta decides whether the check is passed, and repeated failed attempts can slow things down, so we advise before you retry.
I lost access to my email and my 2FA. Is recovery still possible?
It can be harder, but there are routes. We start with the old email and phone number, any device or browser still logged in, and your login history. A device that has logged in before is often the strongest signal Meta has. If none of these exist, the identity-confirmation route is usually the remaining option, and we prepare it carefully.
How do you help with a hijacked or restricted Facebook Page?
We work out whether the issue is lost admin access, a restriction, an unpublished Page or a dispute over who owns the Page inside Meta Business Suite. Then we assemble the Page admin history, business registration, domain or email ownership and, where relevant, ad payment records, and send the case through Meta’s Business Support and appeal channels. Meta makes the final call on each case.
What about a Facebook Group with no admin or one that was disabled?
If you were the admin or creator and lost access, or the group was removed or archived, we gather what shows your role and the group’s history, then use the available appeal and support routes. Groups with other active admins are often easier because Meta’s tools let current admins restore roles. Where nobody holds admin rights, we explain what evidence helps and what is simply not recoverable.
Can you fix an ad account restriction or a Business Manager dispute?
We handle these as appeals, not workarounds. An ad account restriction or a disabled Business Manager usually follows an Account Quality flag, a payment problem or a policy review. We read the notice, check your Account Quality status, assemble business and payment evidence, and submit a clear appeal. We do not try to open replacement accounts to bypass a restriction, which would break Meta’s rules and often makes things worse.
Can you get my permanently banned account back?
Sometimes, not always. A permanent ban means Meta has made a serious determination. If the appeal window is still open, or if there are strong grounds to believe the decision was a mistake, we prepare the appeal. In limited cases involving content decisions, the independent Oversight Board may accept a case, but it takes very few and we cannot promise access. We never advise creating new accounts to evade a ban, because that breaks Meta’s rules.
Will you ask for my password or log in to my account?
No. We never need your Facebook password and you should never send it to anyone, including us. We work from documents, screenshots, support tickets and the information you give us about the account. Be careful of anyone offering recovery for a fee who asks for your login details.
Do you only help with accounts I own?
Yes. We help only with accounts, Pages and Groups that you own or have clear rights to. We verify ownership before we begin, and we decline requests to access someone else’s account, for example a former partner’s, a competitor’s or an account you cannot show any connection to.
Do you guarantee recovery?
We cannot guarantee recovery or any timeline. Every decision is Meta’s. Payment on success may be available to eligible cases; we may ask for an escrow or deposit, and clients outside the US pay through escrow or a deposit. We assess your case first and confirm the route and the terms in writing before we start.
What mistakes make recovery harder?
Common ones: submitting the same appeal over and over, creating new accounts after a ban, changing details on a compromised account in a hurry, paying anyone who claims to be a Meta employee, and using a different name or photo on your ID check than the one on the account. Stop and send us the details first, and we will plan the order of steps.
